Jerry Garza - Early Days

The Journey Begins

Rooted in Community, Driven by Purpose

Jerry Garza was born and raised right here in our county. Growing up in a working-class family, he learned early the values of hard work, integrity, and service to others. His parents instilled in him a belief that true success is measured not by what you accumulate, but by what you give back to your community.

After graduating from our local high school, Jerry pursued higher education while working multiple jobs to support himself. He earned his degree in Public Administration, driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of everyday people.

"I've never forgotten where I came from. Every decision I make is guided by the faces of the families I grew up with—the hardworking people who deserve a government that works for them."

For over 25 years, Jerry has dedicated his life to public service, holding various positions that have given him a comprehensive understanding of county government, budget management, and the real challenges facing our community.
